| Sunday Mornings 9:40am to sign in, change and be on the water for 10:00am - 12 noon throughout the year except Bank Holiday weekends (open Boxing Day morning). The Sunday Funday provides an open session of fun canoeing for all Centre members with their BCU 1 star or above. There is no formal instruction but the Coaches will not let anyone struggle. Regular trips out to local weirs for the more proficient paddlers take place over the winter period, as well as a variety of games and other water activities. |  |

Families with children under 8 years, whose parents have gained their BCU 1 Star Open Canoe award or new BCU 1 Star Open Canoe award or new BCU 1 Star award, are also welcome on these sessions. We also have a thriving group of open canoe paddlers who join in the recreational and social aspects of the morning. All canoeing equipment is supplied. Wear suitable warm clothing (not cotton), old trainers and bring a cagoule. Don't forget to bring a towel and dry clothes to change into at the end. The Centre does not provide we suits. |
