Aquatic First Aid Courses

The British Canoeing Aquatic First aid courses at Level 1 and Level 2wo meet the requirements of all paddlesport coaches. An in-date first aid certificate is needed by all active and ‘updated’ coaches.

British canoeing coaches at coach Level 1 or 2 need an eight hour course (L1) and level three coaches (and L2 with moderate water endorsement) require a sixteen hour course (L2). These courses follow the syllabus of the British Canoe Lifeguards who are responsible for the administration and certification of the courses.
