Just a taste of some of the things we get up too
Santa Paddle Update
We have plenty of drivers all able to help with a shuttle run. The goal will be to get as many cars at the end, as possible. We will need a few people to drive the drivers back to the start and then collect their vehicles later.
So this means anyone who wants a vehicle shuttle- please be at Tyle Mill carp park, by the canal for 11am
Anyone who is just being dropped off and collected from the end, can you be at start for 12 noon.
I will bring some hot mince pies and sausage rolls. Please bring some snacks and hot drinks with you. Dress warm, it looks like we will have Easterly winds (in our faces) and will be very cold.
Friday night was curry night
It was cold night as more than 20 intrepid paddlers took to the Thames, braving the fog and freezing conditions for a bit a fun, and a curry, of course!
The first AD curry night was voted a tremendous success by all present as Ed Edwards, master chef and his catering team served up a variety of homemade curries.
Thanks to Scampi and Grant for organising a super social and to Ed to his fab cooking.
Next stop – Santa paddle – 10th December – don’t forget to register!
